At the end of All You Can Art 2023, I wanted to kick start the process of turning the pain of my papercut prom dress into snippets of love. These two collages, made of the remnants of my papercut prom dress demonstrate the two competing 'urgencies' in my life: making art and making social impact. In hindsight, this was the beginning of my quest to marry those two passions into a new career.
