Social entrepreneur, developmental psychologist, autodidact, visual artist.

I am a professional 'stuiterbal' - I like to try things, all the things, and run in whatever direction my developmental whims take me. As a result, I have a very diverse educational and professional background, including teaching and research in psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, and pedagogy; running a volunteer-driven social restaurant, free grocery store, crisiscatering, and food waste distribution centre under hotspot hutspot; and starting and handing over Boterhamsters, a school breakfast and lunch service for disadvantaged children.

After participating in All You Can Art in Rotterdam, I reached a point in my life where I decided that I'm NEVER GONNA NOT ART AGAIN. I made a wish, threw it into the wishing well, and 3 months later, I made a switch from using food as a medium to using art as a medium to facilitate social change and personal development.

My practice focuses on exploring life through different frames of reference in order to discover and re-/define my own identity. A large part of this exploration involves dropping myself into a new context, building social connections and communities with those around me, and treating the space created by each context as a "childhood", where I can learn, play, and grow as a person and artist.
